Common use of Reinstatement Lists Clause in Contracts

Reinstatement Lists. A. The following persons shall be placed on AUTHORITY REINSTATEMENT LISTS as provided in Sections 1., 2., and 3., of this Article, in the order of their respective layoff points with the person having the largest number of layoff points listed first: 1. Persons Laid Off—The names of persons laid off shall be placed on a REINSTATEMENT LIST for each class in the occupational series at or below the level of the class from which laid off. 2. Persons Exercising Their Rights Under Section 5., of this Article—The names of persons exercising their rights under Section 5., of this Article, shall be placed on a REINSTATEMENT LIST for each class below the level of the class from which reduced, excluding any classes at or below the level of the class currently held.
