Reliance on Instructions Clause Samples

The Reliance on Instructions clause establishes that a party, typically a service provider or agent, is entitled to act based on the instructions received from an authorized representative of the other party. In practice, this means the service provider does not need to independently verify the authority of the person giving instructions, as long as they reasonably appear to be authorized. This clause helps streamline operations and communications by clarifying that the service provider can rely on given instructions without incurring liability for acting on them, thereby reducing delays and potential disputes over authority.
