Replacement of Engineer Clause Samples

The Replacement of Engineer clause outlines the process and conditions under which the party responsible for appointing the project engineer may substitute them with another qualified individual. Typically, this clause specifies the circumstances that justify a replacement, such as incompetence, conflict of interest, or inability to perform duties, and may require prior notice or approval from the other contracting party. Its core function is to ensure that the project continues smoothly with competent oversight, while providing a clear mechanism to address issues with the appointed engineer without causing unnecessary delays or disputes.
