Replacement of Grantor Trust Trustee Sample Clauses

The Replacement of Grantor Trust Trustee clause establishes the process and authority for appointing a new trustee to oversee a grantor trust if the current trustee is unable or unwilling to serve. Typically, this clause outlines who has the power to designate a successor trustee, such as the grantor, beneficiaries, or a majority of beneficiaries, and may specify procedures for notification and acceptance of the new trustee. Its core function is to ensure the continuous and effective administration of the trust by providing a clear mechanism for trustee succession, thereby preventing disruptions in trust management.
