Common use of Reporting Off Work Clause in Contracts

Reporting Off Work. When an employee is unable to work, the employee shall call the calloff phone line no later than 8:00 a.m. on each day of absence, unless emergency conditions make it impossible or unless the employee has made other reporting arrangements with the supervisor. In the event circumstances prevent an employee from calling off (e.g., the employee is hospitalized and unable to do so, or an injury or condition prevents the employee from calling off), then as soon as practicable, a member of the employee’s immediately family may contact the Employer to call the employee off work.
