Common use of Reporting Procedure Clause in Contracts

Reporting Procedure. Absences shall be reported to the bargaining unit employee’s immediate supervisor at least two (2) hours before the employee’s scheduled starting time, except in case of an emergency. Should the employee know that the absence will continue beyond two (2) or more consecutive days, the bargaining unit employee shall notify his/her immediate supervisor to this effect before the end of the first such day, and each succeeding day of absence thereafter.
