Request for Time Off. (excluding Christmas, New Year=s, and the months of July and August) Schedules will be posted at least 1 week in advance of the date of the schedule and will cover a 1 month period. Master schedules are posted that repeat every 2 weeks or 3 weeks (housekeeping). Staff can determine from the master the dates they are working for any time period and therefore are expected to submit their request for time off (including vacation) at least 2 weeks before the next posting of a schedule. This is usually by the 15th of the previous month. (e.g. current schedule runs to May 30, by May 15 any requests for time off for June must be in to your supervisor). i) According to the master schedule, an employee, by seniority, shall have the option to not work a scheduled Holiday, excluding holidays in the Christmas and New Year time frame, provided the Employer has sufficient staff to accommodate the request.
