Common use of Required Authorization Clause in Contracts

Required Authorization. Unless prior written authorization is obtained from the Bureau of Export Administration, or the Export Administration Regulations explicitly permit the export, re-export, and/or trans-shipment of Products or technical data disclosed or provided to Distributor, as applicable, without such written authorization, Distributor shall not export, re-export, or trans-ship, directly or indirectly, Products or technical data, to any country as to which the U.S. Government has placed an embargo against the shipment of products, which embargo is in effect during the term of this Agreement.
