Common use of Resignation Notification Clause in Contracts

Resignation Notification. ‌ An employee wishing to leave his/her employment with the City in good standing shall file with his/her Department Director a written resignation, stating the effective date of his/her resignation and the reason for leaving. The resigning individual should file such written resignation at least two weeks in advance of the effective resignation date and participate in an exit interview conducted by the City prior to issuance of the final paycheck.
