RESIGNATION/TERMINATION Sample Clauses

The RESIGNATION/TERMINATION clause defines the conditions and procedures under which an individual may voluntarily leave their position (resignation) or be removed from it (termination). This clause typically outlines the required notice period, any obligations for written notice, and the handling of final compensation or benefits. For example, it may specify that an employee must provide two weeks’ notice before resigning, or detail the grounds on which an employer can terminate employment, such as misconduct or redundancy. Its core function is to provide a clear framework for ending the employment relationship, thereby reducing uncertainty and potential disputes for both parties.
