Common use of Respectful Behaviour Clause in Contracts

Respectful Behaviour. 7.1 The Contractor acknowledges the Principal’s zero tolerance towards men’s violence against women in the workplace and the broader community. 7.2 The Contractor agrees that in performing any Customer Agreement or otherwise providing Deliverables, the Contractor Personnel will at all times: 7.2.1 act in a manner that is non-threatening, courteous, and respectful; and 7.2.2 comply with any instructions, policies, procedures or guidelines issued by the Principal and any Customer regarding acceptable workplace behaviour. 7.3 If the Principal (or a Customer) believes that Contractor Personnel are failing to comply with the behavioural standards specified in this clause, then the Principal or that Customer (as the case may be) may in its absolute discretion: 7.3.1 prohibit access by the relevant Contractor Personnel to a Delivery Point where Deliverables are being Supplied; and 7.3.2 direct the Contractor to withdraw the relevant Contractor Personnel from providing the Deliverables.
