RESTRICTIONS ON CERTAIN FOREIGN PURCHASES. A. Unless advance written approval of Partner is obtained, neither Center nor Recipient shall acquire for use in the performance of this Agreement, any supplies or services originating from sources within, or that were located in or transported from or through, countries whose products are banned from importation into the United States under regulations of the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control, Department of the Treasury. Those countries include Cuba; Iran, Iraq, Libya, North Korea and Yugoslavia, including Serbia and Montenegro, and Afghanistan. B. Recipient and Center agree to insert the provisions of this clause, including this paragraph B., in all sub-agreements and subcontracts hereunder.
