Common use of Retention of Goodwill Clause in Contracts

Retention of Goodwill. During the Pre-Effective Date Period, the Corporation will, subject to the transactions contemplated by this Agreement, continue to carry on the business of the Corporation and its Subsidiaries in a manner consistent with prior practice, work to preserve the attendant goodwill of such entities and to contribute to retention of that goodwill to and after the Effective Date, but subject to the following provisions of this
