Retroactive Salary Increases. When retroactive salary increases are negotiated, the increase in salary will be applicable to all Unit Members who are in paid status on the date the retroactive increase is approved by the Board of Trustees. 26.6.1 Unit Members who retire from the District or are laid off on or after the date the retroactive increase is approved by the Board of Trustees will also receive this salary increase. 26.6.2 Unit Member placed on the 39-month reemployment list or granted an unpaid leave of absence on or after the date the retroactive increase is approved by the Board of Trustees will also receive this salary increase. 26.6.3 Unit Members granted a military leave for the performance of military service in a uniformed service, whether such leave is paid or unpaid by the District, and provided the Unit Member is an employee of the District on the date the retroactive increase is approved by the Board of Trustees, will also receive this salary increase.
Retroactive Salary Increases. (a) For the purpose of this clause, "retroactive period" means the period commencing on the date of the retroactive upward revision in rates of pay and ending on the day this Agreement is signed or when an arbitral award is rendered therefore. (b) A retroactive upward revision shall apply to all employees, former employees or in the case of death, the estates of former employees who were employees in the bargaining unit during the retroactive period. (c) Rates of pay shall be paid in an amount equal to what would have been paid had the Agreement been signed or an arbitral award rendered therefore on the effective date of the revision in rates of pay. (d) (i) In order for former employees or, in the case of death, for the former employees' representatives to receive payment in accordance with clause 27.19 (c), the Employer shall notify, by registered mail, such individuals at their last known address that they have thirty (30) days from the date of receipt of the registered letter to request in writing such payment after which time any obligation upon the Employer to provide payment ceases.
Retroactive Salary Increases a. Should negotiations not be completed in time for the bookkeeping department to complete any required changes, all employees shall remain on the salary schedule position held the previous year. When negotiations are completed, employees shall be moved to their proper positions. b. Any retroactive salary increases due because of settling late in the year shall be paid as a lump sum included on the next paycheck. However, if settlement is within ten days of pay day, the next check shall be the same as the last check. The second pay period after this check will have the retroactive pay plus the new paycheck.

Graduate students’ new rates go into effect 3. Graduate students’ retro paid out for 2022-2023 to current Graduate students; for AY equivalent $4,323.08 and for CY equivalent $5,603.30. ii. March 1, 2024: 1. Graduate students’ retro paid out for 2023-2024 to current graduates. 2. Graduate students’ retro paid out for 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 for those still on payroll in another position at NJIT. 3. Postdocs’ retro paid out to current postdocs for 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 4. Postdocs’ retro paid out for 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 for those still on payroll at NJIT.

  • Salary Increases The Employer agrees to pay the negotiated salary increases to every employee not later than the month following the month in which this Agreement is signed and not later than the month following the month in which any subsequent salary increases become effective.

  • Salary Increase All State salary increases or reductions provided to the district during this contract will be provided to all employees.

  • Salary Increments The Employer may grant an increment for meritorious service after an Employee has served for a period of twelve (12) months following the day established in Article 25.07 or twelve (12) months following the date of a change in his rate of compensation as established in Articles 25.04, 25.05, or 25.06.

  • Retroactive Pay All employees shall receive full retroactive pay to May 21, 2021 for all hours worked and/or paid. Retroactive pay shall be paid to all employees within thirty (30) calendar days following the date of Union ratification of this Agreement. Retroactive pay will be issued to each employee in the bargaining unit on paycheques that are separate and apart from the employee's normal earnings.

  • Annual Salary Executive's compensation shall consist of an annual base salary (the "Annual Salary") of one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000), before all customary payroll deductions. The Annual Salary shall be reviewed, and shall be subject to change, by the Board of Directors of Employer (or the Compensation Committee thereof) at least annually while Executive is employed hereunder.
