Common use of Retroactive Wages Clause in Contracts

Retroactive Wages. 10:01 (a) Retroactive pay adjustments for the period between the expiration of the previous Agreement and the date of the signing of this Agreement shall apply to: (i) employees who are in the employ of the Employer on the date of the signing of this Agreement; (ii) employees who have left the service during the above-mentioned period but who have retired in accordance with the provisions of The Civil Service Superannuation Act or who have died in service; (iii) employees who have left the service during the above-mentioned period by reason of being laid-off by the Employer; (iv) term employees terminated at the end of a specific term of employment or after the completion of the specific job for which they were employed.

(b) Retroactive pay adjustments for the period between the expiration of the old Agreement and the date of the signing of this Agreement shall be made to employees who have terminated their services (resigned).
