Common use of Retroactive Wages Clause in Contracts

Retroactive Wages. ‌ 54:01 Retroactive pay adjustments for the period between the expiration of the previous Agreement and the date of the signing of this Agreement shall apply to: (a) Employees who are in the employ of the Employer on the date of the signing of this Agreement; (b) Employees who have left the service during the above-mentioned period but who have retired in accordance with the provisions of The Civil Service Superannuation Act or who have died in service; (c) Employees who have left the service during the above-mentioned period by reason of being laid off by the Employer; and (d) Employees who have voluntarily terminated their services (resigned).
