Common use of Returning to Former Position Clause in Contracts

Returning to Former Position. ‌ Any employee who is selected for a new position may be returned, or may elect to be returned, to his/her former job or equivalent position without prejudice within ten (10) work days from the date of new assignment, unless the ten work days is interrupted by a school break or employee vacation of fifteen (15) calendar days or more, in which case the opportunity to return to the former position terminates on the last work day before the break or vacation period.
