Returning Unit Members Clause Samples

The 'Returning Unit Members' clause defines the terms and conditions under which employees who were previously part of a bargaining unit and are returning to employment are treated. Typically, this clause outlines whether returning employees regain their prior seniority, benefits, or job status, and may specify any limitations or waiting periods before full reinstatement of rights. Its core function is to ensure clarity and fairness in the treatment of returning employees, preventing disputes over their status and protecting both the employer and employees from misunderstandings.
