Right of Grantor to Issue and Renew Franchise Clause Samples

The 'Right of Grantor to Issue and Renew Franchise' clause establishes the grantor's authority to both grant new franchises and renew existing franchise agreements. In practice, this means the grantor retains discretion over when and to whom franchises are issued or renewed, potentially setting conditions or requirements for renewal. This clause ensures the grantor maintains control over the franchise network, allowing them to manage growth, uphold standards, and address underperformance or other concerns by withholding renewal if necessary.
Right of Grantor to Issue and Renew Franchise. Grantee acknowledges and accepts the present right of Grantor to issue and/or renew a Franchise and Grantee agrees it shall not now or at any time hereafter challenge any lawful exercise of this right in any local, State or Federal court. This is not, however, a waiver of any constitutional or legal right or privilege on the part of the Grantee.
