Common use of Right-of-Way Map Clause in Contracts

Right-of-Way Map. The Engineer shall review and evaluate the proposed or existing right-of-way map to verify that all construction staging, and alignment considerations have been taken into account. The Engineer shall make every effort to prevent detours and utility relocations from extending beyond the proposed right-of-way lines. The Engineer shall notify the County in writing if it is necessary to obtain additional construction easements or rights-of-entry and shall provide justification for such action. The Engineer shall be responsible for identifying and delineating any temporary construction easements in areas outside the County’s Right of Way. The County shall secure the necessary legal instruments.
