Common use of Right to Have a ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Clause in Contracts

Right to Have a ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇. Every employee has the right to be represented by a Union ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ or SGEU Labour Relations Advisor of her choosing at any meeting or investigative proceeding with the Employer which might lead to discipline. a) Where the Employer intends to meet with an employee for disciplinary purposes or which may lead to discipline, the employee shall be so notified in writing or by email, in advance, the purpose of the meeting, and informed of the right to have a ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ or SGEU Labour Relations Advisor present at the meeting. The member shall be given sufficient time to arrange Union representation and if necessary to schedule for a later date. b) An employee may choose to waive the right to Union representation. This shall be done so in writing. If at any time during the meeting the employee chooses to rescind the waiver, the employee shall be given sufficient time to arrange Union representation, which may result in reconvening the meeting at a later time and date. c) Failure of the Employer to provide the right to Union representation shall render all resulting discipline null and void.

If at any time during the meeting the employee chooses to rescind the waiver, the employee shall be given sufficient time to arrange Union representation, which may result in reconvening the meeting at a later time and or date. c) Failure of the Employer to provide the right to Union representation shall render all resulting discipline null and void.
