Right to Have a ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇. 11.1.1 Every employee has the right to union representation at any meeting with the Employer which is disciplinary in nature or might lead to discipline. Union stewards shall suffer no loss of pay to attend such meetings. 11.1.2 Where the Employer intends to meet with an employee for disciplinary or investigative purposes, the employee shall be so notified in advance, of the purpose of the meeting, and informed of their right to have a ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ or SGEU Labour Relations Officer present at the meeting. The employee will be given a minimum of seventy-two (72) hours’ notice for such meetings to arrange union representation. 11.1.3 An employee may choose to waive the right to union representation. This shall be done so in writing. If at any time during the meeting the employee chooses to rescind the waiver, the employee shall be given sufficient time to arrange union representation. 11.1.4 Failure of the Employer to advise the employee of the right to union representation will render all resulting discipline null and void.
