Rights in the System Sample Clauses

The 'Rights in the System' clause defines the ownership and usage rights related to a particular system, such as software, platforms, or technology, that is referenced in the agreement. Typically, this clause clarifies whether the client receives a license to use the system, retains any intellectual property rights, or is restricted from copying, modifying, or distributing the system. For example, it may specify that the provider retains all proprietary rights while granting the client limited access for specific purposes. The core function of this clause is to clearly allocate intellectual property rights and prevent disputes over ownership or permitted uses of the system.
