Common use of Rights of the Registry Operator Clause in Contracts

Rights of the Registry Operator. You acknowledge and agree that the Registry Operator may deny, cancel or transfer any registration or transaction, or place any Domain Name on registry lock, hold, or similar status as it deems necessary, in its unlimited and sole discretion: a. to protect the integrity and stability of the registry; b. to comply with any applicable laws, government rules or requirements, requests of law enforcement, or any dispute resolution process; c. to comply with any ICANN requirements, including without limitation the Registry Agreement; d. to avoid liability, civil or criminal, on the part of the Registry Operator, as well as its affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, directors and employees; e. per the terms of this Agreement; or f. to correct mistakes made by the Registry Operator or Registrar in connection with a Domain Name registration.
