The 'Rights While on Leave' clause defines the protections and entitlements an employee retains during periods of approved leave from work. Rights While on Leave. A bargaining unit member approved for a professional conference shall receive full salary while in attendance at said conference. In addition, an estimate of cost of reimbursement will be submitted with the request.
Rights While on Leave a. Any staff member on Maternity Leave or Child Care Leave shall be entitled to request, and receive the right, to continue to be covered by any or all insurance, if available, provided the employee pays to the Business Administrator, in advance each month, the full amount of the monthly group plan premium of such coverages. Any overpayment of premium shall be refunded to the staff member upon termination of leave.
Rights While on Leave. Teachers on leave due to pregnancy disability shall be entitled to full fringe benefits and shall be entitled to reinstatement at the expiration of the period of disability to the same class assignment, teaching assignment and supplemental duty assignment, if any, as held immediately prior to the disability leave.
Rights While on Leave. 1. A bargaining unit member on jury duty leave shall receive his/her full salary and benefits while on said leave provided appropriate verification that such service was rendered is provided to the Treasurer.
2. Time spent on jury leave will not be charged against any of the above leave provisions.
Rights While on Leave. All fringe benefits described in Article VI shall continue at the negotiated percentage cost to the Board.
Rights While on Leave. A bargaining unit member may continue any or all of the insurance benefits provided bargaining unit members by the Board at his/her expense, except as otherwise provided, in accordance with COBRA.

Rights While on Leave. 9.10.1 A member on extended and approved unpaid leave for any reason shall be entitled to request and receive the right to continue to be covered by any or all District group insurance, providing the insurance company or hospital service association involved permits such continuance of coverage of the person on leave of absence and the member pays to the CFO of the Board in advance each month the full amount of the monthly group plan premium of such coverage. Any overpayment of premium shall be refunded to the member upon termination of leave. No other compensation or fringe benefits shall be provided.
9.10.2 In accordance with the Family Medical Leave Act, group health insurance benefits shall be continued to a maximum of twelve (12) weeks, on the same basis as when the employee is actively working. The twelve
