ROAD AND BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION. The latest issue of the existing set of standard specifications is dated 2004 and since its inception there are a total of 16 sets of supplemental provisions called Compilations. The Standard Specifications will be updated. The Contract Administration portion of the Standard Specifications, formerly known as Part 100 General Requirements and Covenants and which removed in December 2010 to become part of the State Department of Administration’s Procurement Regulation, will be returned to the Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction.

ROAD AND BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION. This review shall also verify the material certification and mill test reports for the structural steel and high strength bolts. The Consultant shall verify the information shown on the advanced set of structural steel fabrication and erection drawings by designating correct work with a yellow marker. Errors, omissions, or corrections required shall be noted with a red marker. The Consultant shall complete this review and return two (2) corrected copies of the advanced shop drawings to the State Bridge Engineer within twelve (12) working days, one (1) of which shall be returned to the fabricator for corrections. The Consultant shall retain one (1) set of the advanced drawings for future reference when checking the final shop drawings. Upon receipt of the final shop drawings, the Consultant shall verify, in the manner outlined above, that the required corrections have been made. Seven (7) copies of the approved shop drawings shall be returned within five (5) working days to the State Bridge Engineer. The Consultant shall review and approve, or make other appropriate notation to, the fabricator’s shop plans for the bridge railing, pedestrian railing, expansion devices, or other miscellaneous shop plans as noted in the Project Work Directive. This shall be accomplished using the same procedures outlined above. The time frame for checking these components shall be five (5) working days for the advanced drawings and final shop drawings of each component.

  • Language Construction The language of this Agreement shall be construed in accordance with its fair meaning and not for or against any party. The parties acknowledge that each party and its counsel have reviewed and had the opportunity to participate in the drafting of this Agreement and, accordingly, that the rule of construction that would resolve ambiguities in favor of non-drafting parties shall not apply to the interpretation of this Agreement.

  • New Construction If this contract is for a Property that is newly constructed and the new construction option is selected, coverage begins on day one (1) of month thirteen

  • Law; Construction This Agreement and any claim, counterclaim or dispute of any kind or nature whatsoever arising out of or in any way relating to this Agreement (“Claim”), directly or indirectly, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the internal laws of the State of New York.

  • Legal Construction If one or more of the provisions contained in this Agreement shall for any reason be held invalid, illegal, or unenforceable in any respect, such invalidity, illegality, or unenforceability shall not affect any other provisions and this Agreement shall be construed as if it did not contain the invalid, illegal, or unenforceable provision.

  • ICIF Construction The ICIF shall be designed and constructed in accordance with Good Utility Practice. Within one hundred twenty (120) Calendar Days after the Commercial Operation Date, unless the Parties agree on another mutually acceptable deadline, Interconnection Customer shall deliver to Transmission Provider and Transmission Owner “as-built” drawings, information and documents for the ICIF, such as: a one-line diagram, a site plan showing the Generating Facility and the ICIF, plan and elevation drawings showing the layout of the ICIF, a relay functional diagram, relaying AC and DC schematic wiring diagrams and relay settings for all facilities associated with the Interconnection Customer’s step-up transformers, the facilities connecting the Generating Facility to the step-up transformers and the ICIF, and the impedances (determined by factory tests) for the associated step-up transformers and the Generating Facility. Interconnection Customer shall provide Transmission Provider and Transmission Owner with Interconnection Customer’s specifications for the excitation system, automatic voltage regulator, Generating Facility control and protection settings, transformer tap settings, and communications, if applicable.
