Roof Structure and Cladding. It is expected to be able to retain the Potato and Machinery Barn trusses, beams and rafters as they are, and augment the structure through tension rods or cables, thereby preserving the structurally expressive character of the interior space. It is likely that all of the roof boards will need replacement. A new roof surface of custom long split shakes will be installed.
