Common use of Safe Equipment and Safe Conditions Clause in Contracts

Safe Equipment and Safe Conditions. No Bargaining Unit Employee shall be required to work on, with or about an unsafe piece of equipment or under an unsafe condition. This language may only be invoked after a Bargaining Unit Employee discusses the matter with their supervisor and, if disagreement still exists, with the Administrator, or in the Administrator’s absence, the Administrator’s designee.
