Common use of Safeguarding Data Clause in Contracts

Safeguarding Data. All of the Parties will establish or will cause reasonable safeguards to be established to protect against the distribution, loss or alteration of any other Party's data files and other records. Such safeguards shall be no less rigorous than those each Party uses in protecting its own data and as is necessary to comply with all applicable laws and regulations and in accordance with insurance industry standards and practices, including, but not limited to the ▇▇▇▇▇-▇▇▇▇▇-▇▇▇▇▇▇ Act and HIPAA, as applicable.
