SAFETY CODE. 6.d.1. The Contractor shall at his own expenses arrange for the Safety provisions as may be necessary for the execution of the work or as required by the Engineer- in-Charge in respect of all labours directly or indirectly employed for performance of the works and shall provide all facilities in connections therewith. In case the contractor fails to make arrangements and provide necessary facilities as aforesaid, the Owner shall be entitled to do so and recover the cost thereof from the Contractor. 6.d.2. From the commencement to the completion of the works, the contractor shall take full responsibility for the care thereof and of all the temporary works (defined as meaning all temporary works of every kind required in or for the execution, completion or maintenance of the works).
