Common use of SALARIES/DIFFERENTIALS Clause in Contracts

SALARIES/DIFFERENTIALS. A. The salaries of all bargaining unit members shall be in accordance with appropriate provisions set forth in appendices A, B, C. B. Each teacher shall have the option of being compensated in either 22 or 26 bi-weekly installments. Irrevocable written notice of the option selected shall be given to the Superintendent’s designee no later than one (1) week prior to the work year for which the option has been selected. Any teacher who does not provide such notice of the option selected or provides the notice after the deadline shall be paid his/her annual compensation in 22 bi-weekly installments. C. Any compensation earned in any year shall be based on compensation rates in effect when earned. D. All teachers shall be paid via direct deposit. E. The parties agree that the pay rates for long term substitutes (defined as individuals serving for more than forty (40) consecutive days in the same assignment) shall be paid a daily rate of Level I, Step I as set forth in Appendix A. Said daily rate shall take effect on the long term substitute’s 41st day in the same assignment.
