SALARY CONDITIONS. (a) An allowance for each year of previous teaching experience shall be given according to all levels of the schedule of salary rates to maximum.
(b) Claim for previous teaching experience, if any, shall be made in writing. The Teacher shall cooperate with the Board by providing such verification of previous experience that the Board requires to determine whether the Teacher qualifies for the allowance provided for in paragraph (a) above.
7:02 Teaching experience in Ontario prior to Teachers' College graduation shall not be credited or acknowledged for salary purposes.
7:03 The Board shall recognize for salary purposes previous teaching experience as defined in Interpretations (xvi) in accordance with Clause 7:01 above. The total accumulation shall be rounded to the nearest whole number, but where the fraction of a year equals five (5) months, such shall be considered a full year for salary purposes.
7:04 The annual increment of all Teachers in the employ of the Board shall be as designated in the schedule of salary rates and shall be effective September.
7:05 The Board shall reserve the right to withhold the annual increment of any Teacher in any year, if the Teacher's services are deemed to be unsatisfactory. The Teacher will be notified in writing of the Board's intention to withhold the increment not later than May 15th. When the Teacher's services are again deemed satisfactory by the Board, the salary position of the Teacher shall be reinstated at the level the Teacher would have attained had it not been for the withholding of an annual increment commencing the September next following the determination of satisfactory status.
SALARY CONDITIONS. There must be a difference in salary between managerial salaried employees and subordinate staff who do not have a specialist position. When setting and comparing salaries, benefits in addition to salary shall also be taken into consideration. The basic principle is that men and women shall have equal pay for work that is equal or that is to be regarded as equivalent. Salary growth for employees with long experience in the company within their work/professional field shall not be less favourable than for salaried employees with less experience. The principle for salary-setting principle shall not be discriminatory. Employees on parental leave are included in the annual salary review. Non-objective pay differences shall be eliminated. The same valuation and application of salary-setting shall apply to both women and men. In cases where a salaried employee has not received an acceptable salary increase, separate discussions shall be held between salary-setting manager and employee concerning the latter’s ability to perform the tasks, need for skills enhancement actions or other appropriate actions.

A teacher is entitled to be paid his or her salary in the proportion that the total number of school days for which the Teacher performs his or her duties in the school year bears to the total number of school days in the school year. It is further understoodthat a Teacher's salary payments shall be attributed to the calendar year during which the payment was made. The Board shall pay the Teachers by Direct Deposit in twenty-six (26) installments on a basis commencing September Annual College of Teachers fees shall be deducted by the Board in two (2) equal installments beginning with the first cheque of the calendar year.
SALARY CONDITIONS. 6.6.2.1 Witness for the Board - When an employee appears as a witness for the Board with or without subpoena, no deduction shall be made to salary or leave.
SALARY CONDITIONS. The base salary for a 40-hour week is DKK 26,597.49 per month. On May 1, 2025, the salary will increase by 3.23% to DKK 28,043.06 per month. This salary is calculated as the hourly wage multiplied by 173.33 hours, which is derived from 40 hours x 52 weeks / 12 months. The base salary for a 48-hour week is DKK 32,981.01 per month. On May 1, 2025, it will increase by 3.23% to DKK 34,773.52 per month. This salary is calculated as the hourly wage multiplied by 214.93 hours, which is derived from (40 + 1.20 x 8) x 52 / 12. This means that 40 hours are paid at the standard rate, and 8 hours at standard rate + 20%. For dirty work, an additional supplement will be paid in addition to the base salary per month, amounting to DKK 74.53 for a 40-hour workweek and DKK 92.42 for a 48-hour workweek. For work operating forklifts, lorries, and buses, an additional supplement will be paid in addition to the base salary per month, amounting to DKK 303.33 for a 40-hour workweek and DKK 376.13 for a 48-hour workweek. For work operating crane trucks, tankers, and trucks with trailers, an additional supplement will be paid in addition to the base salary per month, amounting to DKK 930.78 for a 40-hour workweek and DKK 1154.18 for a 48-hour workweek. The overtime rate is pursuant to the stipulations in § 8 of the main agreement. Overtime pay may, if the employee wishes and the employer agrees, be compensated with time-off in the same proportion as the overtime rate to the standard wage. The employer decides in consultation with the employee when the compensatory time-off will be taken and notifies in good time, which is usually no later than 4 working days in advance. Compensatory time-off should generally be taken in either whole or half days and must be taken within two months after the relevant overtime work was performed. Hours not compensated within this period will be paid as overtime. Such compensatory time-off should not be scheduled on days that are already days-off. Salaries must be deposited into the employee's account no later than the last working day of the month. When the salaries in the main agreement are changed, the salaries in this agreement shall change correspondingly.
SALARY CONDITIONS.
A. Present payroll practices for members of this unit shall be continued during the life of this agreement.
B. Paychecks shall be postmarked to the teacher's place of residence, upon request by the teacher, on the established payday.
C. Each unit member directed to attend faculty meetings shall be compensated at their hourly rate of pay for each hour or part thereof. Other faculty may attend on a voluntary basis.
