Common use of Schedule of Observations Clause in Contracts

Schedule of Observations. a. A minimum of two (2) formal observations shall be conducted, the first at a mutually agreed upon time. There shall be at least one (1) work week between formal observations. The first observation will occur prior to the end of first semester and the second occurring prior to April 30th, unless mutually agreed upon between the counselor and evaluator. The observation shall not occur the day prior to the following: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring break, or when the employee has had an approved extended absence, including but not limited to maternity/paternity/adoption leave, unless mutually agreed upon. i. In addition, the evaluator will indicate a counselor performance rating based on the combination of each observation/walkthrough sequence to provide the counselor with timely feedback on his/her performance.
