Scheduled Conferences Sample Clauses

The Scheduled Conferences clause establishes the requirement for regular meetings between the parties involved in an agreement. It typically outlines the frequency, format, and purpose of these conferences, such as monthly project updates or quarterly performance reviews, and may specify who should attend and how agendas are set. By formalizing these meetings, the clause ensures ongoing communication, facilitates issue resolution, and helps keep all parties aligned throughout the duration of the contract.
Scheduled Conferences. For the 2016-17 school year there shall be two (2) parent-teacher conferences (PTC).The parties shall review the experience and feedback with respect to the reduced number of PTC conferences during the 2016-17 school year when considering and negotiating the schedule of PTC conferences in the next school year, with the understanding that the status quo is two annual PTC conferences. Teacher attendance is required for all scheduled conferences, subject to the teacher being on an excused absence on that day. These conferences shall be held on Wednesdays on dates determined by the District and follow these guidelines:
Scheduled Conferences. Evaluations shall be reduced to writing and a conference scheduled with the employee to present and discuss the evaluation. If the employee disagrees with the evaluation or wishes to respond to it, he/she may submit a written response which shall be attached to the file copy of the evaluation. If a supervisor believes an employee is doing unsatisfactory work, they shall state the reasons and recommendation for remediation.
Scheduled Conferences. When an administrator schedules a conference with an educator that is disciplinary in nature or could potentially lead to formal documentation, the educator will be informed of the nature/purpose of the meeting. The administrator will advise the educator of his/her right to a silent observer. The educator may request an observer to be present. Provided the issue to be discussed does not involve safety or security of District students, personnel or property, up to two days will be given to the educator to obtain an observer if requested. The observer may be an association member and/or a Rockwood School District educator. The observer will not have a speaking role, but will serve as an observer/recorder. The educator must inform the administrator in advance that he/she will be bringing an observer. The conference may be extended beyond the normal contract day if the situation requires immediate resolution. This policy does not apply to the formative and summative evaluation conferences as per Policy/Regulation 4610. The purpose of a FIP is to assist educators in correcting a documented deficiency and is not a disciplinary action. The development of a FIP is meant to be a collaborative effort; therefore, the principal should give adequate notice to the educator of meetings to develop the contents of the plan. The educator may request an observer be present. The ability to have an observer present should not be construed that the FIP conference or conferences are disciplinary. The observer may be an association member and/or a Rockwood School District educator. The observer will not have a speaking role, but will serve as an observer/recorder.
