Common use of Scheduled Work Days Clause in Contracts

Scheduled Work Days. The standby period for a scheduled work day will be fifteen and one-half (15 1/2) hours extending from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. the next day. When an employee is assigned to standby on a scheduled work day, such employee will be paid three (3) hours at the straight time rate of pay for each fifteen and one-half (15 1/2) hour period or any portion thereof.
