SCHEDULES AND ROUTES. The CONTRACTOR shall submit proposed changes to routes and schedules to be approved by the Town Manager no later than ninety (90) calendar days prior to the proposed effective date of the change. In the event of a temporary change in residential routes or schedules that will alter the day of Collection, the CONTRACTOR shall have said changes approved by the Town Manager at the earliest practical date. The CONTRACTOR shall bear all expenses for public education in the event of a change in residential routes (i.e. preparation of news releases, postage, copies, etc.). The TOWN reserves the right to deny the CONTRACTOR’S vehicles access to certain streets, bridges, and public ways, inside the TOWN or outside the TOWN in route to Designated Disposal Facilities where it is in the best interest of the general public to do so due to conditions of streets and bridges. The CONTRACTOR shall use best efforts to not interrupt the regular schedule and quality of service because of such street closures.
SCHEDULES AND ROUTES. The Contractor shall establish Collection routes and schedules that satisfy the requirements of this Agreement and maximize the efficiency of the Contractor’s operations. Subject to these considerations, the Contractor shall attempt to ensure that the Contractor’s Collection Plan minimizes the changes to the Collection schedules and routes used for Residential Customers before the Commencement Date. The routes established under this Agreement shall be separate from the routes the Contractor uses for the Collection of Solid Waste and Source Separated Recyclable Materials generated outside of the Service Area (e.g., in the unincorporated area of Broward County or in another municipality). The Contractor shall submit its proposed Collection routes and schedules to the Administrator as part of the Contractor’s Collection Plan. (See Section 5.2(a) and Section 23.) The proposed Collection routes and schedules shall be subject to the Administrator's approval. After approval is granted, the Contractor shall provide Collection Services in accordance with the approved routes and schedules in the Collection Plan.
SCHEDULES AND ROUTES. (A) In general. The Provider shall notify the City of its routes and schedules. The City reserves the right to deny the Provider's vehicles access to certain streets, alleys, and public ways inside the City where the City determines that it is in the interest of the general public to do so because of the conditions of the streets or bridges. However, the Provider shall not interrupt the regular schedule and quality of service because of such street closures.
SCHEDULES AND ROUTES. 1.3.15.1 The Contractor shall provide the County and City with schedules for all collection routes and keep such information current at all times. This information shall include route maps that identify each route by number and designate both the beginning and e nding points of each route. If any change in the collection rou tes occurs, then the County and City shall be immediately notified in writing. The appropriate Manager shall approve all permanent changes in routes or schedules that alter the day of pick up. Upon approval of the appropriate Manager, the Contractor shall publish the change in a newspaper of general circulation in Alachua County at least fourteen ( 14) calendar days prior to the effective date of such route or schedule changes. The cost of publication shall be borne solely by the Contractor.
SCHEDULES AND ROUTES. The Service Provider shall provide Collection to Customers on a scheduled Collection day in accordance with Section 10. The Service Provider shall maintain the schedules and the routes on file with the City. Any changes to the schedule and/or routes for Residential Customers are subject to the approval of the City Manager.
SCHEDULES AND ROUTES. 7.2.1. The Contractor shall render continuous, weekly service on a regular schedule, as approved by the County’s Designated Representative, to every residence or place of small business in unincorporated areas of Buncombe County. Services should only be rendered in circumstances where the occupant, owner, tenant, lessee, or proprietor of a residence is willing to subscribe to and pay for the services. Small businesses shall have the option to opt-in to services. 7.2.2. The Contractor shall provide weekly refuse collection and disposal and every-other week collection of recyclable items in rollout carts provided to all Subscribers. Collection of refuse and recyclable items shall be scheduled on the same day. Collection will be done Monday through Friday. In the event of inclement weather or if for any other reason collection is missed, every effort must be made to pick up refuse and recyclable items the next day. In case of holidays or emergencies, Saturday collection is allowed by approval of the County’s Designated Representative. 7.2.3. The Contractor shall be responsible for setting the day(s) of collection. On or by November 30, 2019, the Contractor will furnish the County’s Designated Representative with a detailed map and schedule showing the areas to be collected by the day and by the week. Contractor is responsible for assisting with notification of the public about any changes to the collection schedule. Once the collection day has been set for an area, the day cannot be changed without the approval of the County’s Designated Representative.
SCHEDULES AND ROUTES. Failure to provide the City Administrator with a copy of schedules, and routes, including service levels, within ninety (90) calendar days prior to January 1, 2021, and annually thereafter for the term of the Agreement as provided for in Section 7.1. For each day of delay, a penalty in the amount of Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00) shall be assessed.

The routes established under this Agreement shall be separate from the routes the Contractor uses for the Collection of (a) Commercial Waste and (b) Solid Waste generated outside of the Service Area (e.g., in an incorporated area or another county). The Contractor’s schedule shall identify the Scheduled Collection Day for Garbage and Rubbish, Recyclable Materials, and Yard Trash, respectively, for each Customer. The Contractor shall submit its proposed Collection routes and schedules to the Director as part of the Contractor’s Collection Plan. The proposed Collection routes and schedules shall be subject to the Director's approval. After approval is granted, the Contractor shall provide Collection Service in accordance with the approved routes and schedules in the Collection Plan. Notwithstanding anything else contained in this Section 9.1, the Director may approve a waiver of the requirements in this Section 9.1 if the Contractor demonstrates to the Director’s satisfaction that a waiver is in the public interest.
