Scope and Responsibility. The program encompasses the evaluation and training of pilot candidates selected for enrollment in the pilot training program which is designed to train applicants who lack the technical experience to qualify for promotion or reassignment to a pilot position. The Chief, Air Operations assigned to the Office of the Assistant Commissioner, Border Patrol, in the Central Office (Duty Post: Air Operations Facility (EFO), El Paso, Texas) has primary responsibility for conducting the program.
