Common use of Scope of Clause Clause in Contracts

Scope of Clause. This clause shall apply only in the case where a redundant employee, while still in the employ of the Corporation, has received and accepted an offer of suitable alternative employment from another employer. For these purposes “an offer” can only be made by an employer who has taken on, or is going to take on, a function of the Corporation, the privatisation or contracting out of which has led, or will lead, to the employee becoming redundant.
