Common use of Scope of Licence Clause in Contracts

Scope of Licence. 1.1 This LICENSE is granted to provide SERVICE on a non-exclusive basis in the designated SERVICE AREA by utilizing any type of network equipment, including circuit and/or packet switches, that meet the relevant International Telecommunication Union (ITU)/Telecommunication Engineering Center (TEC)/International standardization bodies such as 3GPP/3GPP-2/ETSI/IETF/ANSI/EIA/TIA/IS. Provided further that the LICENSOR, on its own or through a DESIGNATED OPERATOR, shall always have a right to operate the SERVICE anywhere in India including the service area for which this license is granted. 1.2 LICENSEE shall make its own arrangements for all infrastructure involved in providing the service and shall be solely responsible for installation, networking and operation of necessary equipment and systems, treatment of subscriber complaints, issue of bills to its subscribers, collection of revenue, attending to claims and damages arising out of his operations.
