Scope of Union Recognition Clause Samples

The Scope of Union Recognition clause defines the extent to which an employer acknowledges a labor union as the representative body for a specific group of employees. It typically outlines which job classifications, departments, or locations are covered by the union's representation, and may exclude certain roles such as management or temporary staff. This clause ensures clarity regarding which employees are subject to collective bargaining agreements, thereby preventing disputes over representation and streamlining labor relations.
