Scope of Warranty Sample Clauses

The Scope of Warranty clause defines the extent and limitations of the warranty provided by one party to another under a contract. It typically outlines which products or services are covered, the duration of the warranty, and any exclusions or conditions that apply. For example, it may specify that only manufacturing defects are covered for a period of one year, while normal wear and tear or misuse are excluded. This clause is essential for setting clear expectations between the parties and helps prevent disputes by clarifying what is and is not guaranteed under the warranty.
