Search Reports and Related Documents Sample Clauses

The 'Search Reports and Related Documents' clause defines the obligations and procedures regarding the provision, review, and reliance on search reports and associated documentation, such as title searches or due diligence reports. Typically, this clause specifies which party is responsible for obtaining these documents, the standards they must meet, and how they are to be shared or relied upon during a transaction. For example, in a property sale, the seller may be required to provide a recent title search report to the buyer. The core function of this clause is to ensure transparency and reduce risk by clarifying the quality and availability of critical information needed for informed decision-making.
