Common use of Second Semester Clause in Contracts

Second Semester. a. If a teacher does not use any personal/family illness days during the second semester the teacher shall be entitled to a payment of five hundred ($500) dollars on or before June 30. b. A teacher who uses one-half (1/2) to one (1) day of their personal/family illness days during the second semester shall be entitled to a payment of three hundred ($300) dollars on or before June 30. c. A teacher who uses one and one-half (1 ½) to two (2) days of their personal/family illness days during the second semester shall be entitled to a payment of two hundred ($200) dollars on or before June 30. d. Teachers employed for less than fifty (50) teacher work days during the semester will have their incentive stipend reduced by fifty (50%) percent.
