Section 7.9.2. All hours worked in excess of eight (8) hours per day shall be compensated at the rate of one 3 and one-half (1½) times the employee's regular hourly rate. Any bus driver driving extra trips 4 and going over the eight (8) hour day would not receive overtime rates. Any part-time 5 employee going over the eight (8) hour day would not receive overtime rates unless they go 6 over forty (40) hours in the week.

Section 7.9.2. The work week is defined as Monday through Sunday for purposes of overtime. All employees are 4 considered to be working a standard work week unless otherwise stated in writing to the employee. 5 Holidays will count towards hours worked for the purposes of calculating overtime during a week.

Section 7.9.2 with the parties practice in assignment of extra bus trips, such trips will be assigned 45 on the basis of seniority, except in cases where the trip is of such a duration the District would be 46 obligated to pay overtime. If all eligible extra trip drivers have worked forty (40) hours in a 47 week, all additional work shall be assigned on the basis of seniority.

Section 7.9.2. 45 Temporary night leads will be filled by a worker at the school site, by seniority on the shift 46 involved. Any substitutes will be used to fill the position vacated by the employee temporarily 47 filling the lead position. 48

Section 7.9.2. All hours worked on the sixth (6th) or seventh (7th) consecutive workday shall receive no less 7 than two (2) hours pay at the appropriate rate. Employees who are called back after hours will 8 be paid a minimum of two (2) hour’s pay at the applicable rate for the respective time period.

Section 7.9.2. 21 Other custodians with an unrestricted boiler license will receive five dollars ($5.00) per month 22 additional.
