Common use of Section 8.4.1 Clause in Contracts

Section 8.4.1. In the event a regular employee is absent from work because of an L & I work-related injury, a 29 temporary replacement may be used on a substitute basis. If the employee will be absent from 30 work for an extended period (thirty (30) working days or more), the District will consult with 31 Association leadership whether to post a “Leave Replacement” vacancy for the duration of the 32 leave. 34 Upon release to return to work, the regular employee will resume his/her regular work
