Section 8.8.1. 35 The senior employee within the general job classification for which there is a posted vacancy, 36 who applies for an available position within the same job classification with the School 37 District, shall be granted an interview, unless he/she has been interviewed for a similar position 38 within the last twelve (12) months. 39 40 Section 8.9. 41 Employees who change job classifications within the bargaining unit shall retain their seniority dates in 42 the previous classification for a period of one (1) year, notwithstanding that they have acquired a new 43 seniority date and a new classification. 44 45 Section 8.10.
