Security and Damage. Landlord and Tenant agree that Tenant will not pay a security deposit for the 72 Premises. Tenant agrees to take good care of the Premises throughout the Lease Term (as described in 73 more detail in Section 8 below), reasonable wear and tear excepted. In the event that Tenant fails to 74 pay any or all amount(s) that are due under this Lease, in the event that Tenant causes or allows damage 75 to the Premises that exceeds ordinary wear and tear, in the event that Tenant’s actions or inactions 76 necessitate cleaning costs that exceed ordinary wear and tear, and/or in the event that Tenant owes any 77 other sum(s) to Landlord for any reason hereunder, then Tenant agrees to make payment to Landlord, 78 which shall include but not be limited to the following:

Security and Damage. Students will be responsible for their own device and protective cases must remain on the iPad. Teachers will direct students to appropriate storage locations for their devices when they are not being used. Parents / carers must ensure that the iPad is used and stored appropriately when not at school. If the iPad is broken or damaged, Parents need to ensure that it is repaired or replaced in a timely manner to ensure no disruption to learning and educational opportunities in the classroom. (Preferably within one week). If the screen is cracked or broken in any way, the device cannot be used at school.
Security and Damage. The student will be responsible for their own device and protective cases are recommended. Teachers will direct students to appropriate storage locations for their devices when they are not being used. Westbourne Park Primary School takes no responsibility for any loss or damage incurred to the device either at school or in transit to and from school and insurance is the responsibility of the family. Any issues with the device are the responsibility of the student/family to resolve.
Security and Damage. It is the joint responsibility of school personnel and the parent or guardian of each student to educate the student about his responsibilities regarding the safekeeping of his digital technology. • St John’s College are not liable for any device stolen or damaged while at school or involved at a St John’s College event. Responsibility to keep privately owned devices safe and secure rests with the individual owner. It is therefore recommended that parents/guardians ensure that personal devices brought to school are covered by insurance. If a device is stolen or damaged, such incidents will be handled through the Assistant Principal and dealt with in the same manner as other personal property that is damaged or stolen. I have read this agreement and agree to follow it at all times. I am aware of the school’s initiatives to promote good digital citizenship and to maintain a cyber safe learning environment, including my son’s responsibilities.

  • Security and Safety A. The Contractor warrants it is and shall remain in compliance with all applicable local, state and federal laws, regulations, codes and ordinances relating to fire, construction, building, health, food service and safety, including but not limited to the Hotel and Motel Fire Safety Act of 1990, Public Law 101-391. The Judicial Council may terminate this Agreement, pursuant to the termination for cause provision set forth herein, without penalty or prejudice if the Contractor fails to comply with the foregoing requirements. B. The Contractor shall assure that each Attendee is advised of all the appropriate precautions that should be taken to provide for the Attendee’s safety while on the Property. The Contractor shall take every reasonable precaution to provide for the security of Attendees and their belongings. C. The Contractor shall immediately advise the Judicial Council’s staff of any known problems that involve the Attendees during the Program including, but not limited to, assaults, burglaries, accidents, and/or illnesses.

  • Security and Data Transfers Party shall comply with all applicable State and Agency of Human Services' policies and standards, especially those related to privacy and security. The State will advise the Party of any new policies, procedures, or protocols developed during the term of this agreement as they are issued and will work with the Party to implement any required. Party will ensure the physical and data security associated with computer equipment, including desktops, notebooks, and other portable devices, used in connection with this Agreement. Party will also assure that any media or mechanism used to store or transfer data to or from the State includes industry standard security mechanisms such as continually up-to-date malware protection and encryption. Party will make every reasonable effort to ensure media or data files transferred to the State are virus and spyware free. At the conclusion of this agreement and after successful delivery of the data to the State, Party shall securely delete data (including archival backups) from Party’s equipment that contains individually identifiable records, in accordance with standards adopted by the Agency of Human Services. Party, in the event of a data breach, shall comply with the terms of Section 7 above.

  • UNION SECURITY AND DUES DEDUCTION Section 1 The Employer agrees to notify all new employees covered by this Agreement that the Union is the sole exclusive bargaining representative. It shall be a condition of employment that all employees of the Employer covered by this Agreement who are members of the Union in good standing on the effective date of this Agreement or on the date upon which this Agreement is signed, whichever is later, shall remain members in good standing and those who are not members on the effective date of this Agreement or the date upon which this Agreement is signed, whichever is later, shall on the sixty-first (61st) day following the effective date of this Agreement or the date upon which this Agreement is signed, whichever is later, become and remain members in good standing in the Union, or they shall pay service fees in accordance with the by-laws of the Union for the duration of the Agreement and any extensions thereof. It shall also be a condition of employment that all employees covered by this Agreement and hired on or after its effective date or the date upon which this Agreement is signed, whichever is later, shall on the sixty-first (61st) day following the beginning of such employment become and remain members in good standing in the Union or shall pay a service fee as stated above; and in the event an employee covered by the Agreement shall refuse and fail to become a Union member or to pay the service fee, the Employer shall terminate said employee’s employment, subject to conditions specified in Section 4 of this Article. A. The Union will furnish the School district with deduction authorization cards signed in triplicate by the employee involved as or before each employee completes his/her probationary period. These cards will authorize the Board to make the necessary deductions each month on each employee following completion of his/her probationary period in accordance with the requirements of the National Labor Relations Act of 1947 and amendments thereto. B. A form comparable to the authorization for dues check-off shall be available for signature by employees who elect to have their equivalent service fees deducted, rather than membership dues. C. Upon signed authorization of the employee, the Employer agrees to make all authorized deductions on the first pay period of each month and shall pay same to the Secretary-Treasurer of the MEA prior to the end of the month. D. The Union will furnish the Employer with a check-off list in alphabetical order in duplicate each month, indication thereon the amount due for each employee. One copy of this list shall be returned with the stipulated amount to the Union prior to the end of the month. Section 3 The Union agrees to indemnify and save the Board of Education, including such individual school board members and the administration, harmless against any and all claims, demands, suits or other forms of liability that shall arise out of or by reason of action by the Board of Education for the purpose of complying with this Article. Section 4 The Union shall notify the Employer and the employee by certified mail of any employee who is thirty (30) working days in arrears in the payment of membership dues or service fees. In the event the employee fails to pay either membership dues or service fees pursuant to the employee’s prior election, said employee shall be discharged by the Employer within thirty (30) working days of said notice. However, no employee will be terminated during the pendency of any appeal relative to the level of service fees. Section 5 Non-bargaining unit employees will not perform bargaining unit work that would deprive bargaining unit employees of their regularly scheduled work day.

  • UNION SECURITY AND CHECKOFF 5:01 It shall be a condition of continued employment for all employees including probationary employees, as defined in Article 2, to become members and maintain membership in good standing in the Union. 5:02 The Corporation agrees to deduct from the earnings of all employees, including probationary employees, covered by this Agreement, an amount each month as dues and upon completion of the probationary period an amount for the initiation fee. The amount of such dues and initiation fees shall be advised in writing by the I.B.E.W., Local 2351 and changes to such amounts shall be advised not less than four (4) weeks prior to the effective date. Dues collected shall be remitted within ten (10) days after each pay period, to the designated official of the Union along with a statement of the names, in alphabetical order, and amounts deducted from each employee. The statement will also include the names of employees whose wages are insufficient to permit such deduction and the Corporation will only be obligated to make such deduction from the immediate subsequent pay period. Employees on recall status must be members in good standing of the Union in order to be recalled. 5:03 The Union agrees that neither it nor any of its officers or members will engage in Union activities on Corporation time, or Corporation work area, except as provided in this Agreement. 5:04 The Union shall indemnify and save the Corporation harmless against any and all claims, demands, suits or other forms of liability that shall arise from or by reason of action taken or not taken by the Corporation for the purpose of complying with this Article. 5:05 The Corporation will submit monthly to the Union a list of the dates of new hires, terminations and transfers to and from the Bargaining Unit for the previous month. 5:06 The Union agrees to furnish the Corporation with the names of all personnel including officers, representatives, stewards and committee people who are authorized to represent the Union in its relations with the Corporation. 5:07 The Corporation agrees to supply all employees with a copy of the Collective Agreement and will endeavour to do so within one (1) month after receipt from the printer. 5:08 The Corporation shall provide bulletin boards in designated areas for the posting of Union notices dealing with meetings, election of officers, appointments and committees, social affairs and other non-controversial matters dealing with the affairs of the Union. No bulletin shall be posted until approved by the Human Resources Division or the designated Corporate representative.

  • Data Security and Privacy Except as would not, individually or in the aggregate, reasonably be expected to be material to the business of the Company Group, taken as a whole, the Company and each of its Subsidiaries (i) is in compliance with all Data Security Requirements and (ii) has taken commercially reasonable steps consistent with standard industry practice by companies of similar size and maturity, and in compliance in all material respects with all Data Security Requirements to protect (A) the confidentiality, integrity, availability and security of its Business Systems that are involved in the Processing of Personally Identifiable Information, in the conduct of the business of the Company and its Subsidiaries as currently conducted; and (B) Personally Identifiable Information Processed by or on behalf of the Company or such Subsidiary or on their behalf from unauthorized use, access, disclosure, theft and modification. Except as would not, individually or in the aggregate, reasonably be expected to be material to the business of the Company Group, taken as a whole, (i) there are, and since January 1, 2022, have been, no pending complaints, investigations, inquiries, notices, enforcement proceedings, or Actions by or before any Governmental Authority and (ii) since January 1, 2022, no fines or other penalties have been imposed on or written claims, notice, complaints or other communications have been received by the Company or any Subsidiary, relating to any Specified Data Breach or alleging non-compliance with any Data Security Requirement. The Company and each of its Subsidiaries have not, since January 1, 2022, (1) experienced any Specified Data Breaches, or (2) been involved in any Legal Proceedings related to or alleging any violation of any Data Security Requirements by the Company Group or any Specified Data Breaches, each except as would not be material to the business of the Company Group, taken as a whole. The consummation of the transactions contemplated by this Agreement will not cause the Company Group to breach any Data Security Requirement, except as would not reasonably be expected to be material to the business of the Company Group, taken as a whole.
