Segregated Accounts Sample Clauses

The Segregated Accounts clause requires that certain funds or assets be kept separate from other accounts or assets, typically to protect them from being used for unrelated purposes. In practice, this means that a party, such as a service provider or trustee, must maintain distinct accounts for client funds, ensuring they are not commingled with the party’s own assets or those of other clients. This segregation helps safeguard the interests of the account holders by reducing the risk of loss in the event of insolvency or mismanagement, thereby providing greater security and transparency.
