Self-Evaluation. The bargaining unit member being evaluated may prepare a narrative self-evaluation in which he or she reports and evaluates information related to job performance for the period being evaluated. If a self-evaluation is written, the evaluator reviews the self-evaluation, discusses it with the bargaining unit member, appends it to the evaluation form, and forwards it as part of the evaluation record. The evaluator may attach a written statement regarding the self-evaluation narrative.
Self-Evaluation. Each regular faculty member shall provide a self-evaluation. It shall address, among other items, the faculty member's fulfillment of professional responsibilities as referenced in Section 18.2.3 and an assessment of his or her own performance. The faculty member will share the self-evaluation with the Faculty Evaluation Committee and the first-level manager or designee. The self-evaluation will become part of the evaluation report.

Self-Evaluation. 1.1 In order to improve course design or teaching effectiveness, an employee may conduct a written student evaluation of any aspect of a course including his or her teaching performance provided that the procedures of the survey protect student confidentiality.
1.2 Employees may also seek assistance in improving their teaching from a variety of sources including peers, department chairs, and Deans or Directors.
1.3 Individual employees may develop other sources of data for improving teaching effectiveness either alone or in consultation with others.
Self-Evaluation. To assist the Superintendent in the evaluation process, the Assistant Superintendent shall complete, no later than April each year, a written self-evaluation. This self-evaluation shall also include a review of any action plans presented to the Assistant Superintendent at previous evaluations.

1. A description of the faculty member’s contributions to the college, including School activities, participation on committees, community activities, student recruitment, articulation with high schools and colleges, and other appropriate activities.
2. A description of curriculum revisions including new course projects, materials and class assignments, and other appropriate curriculum activities.
3. A description of progress on any other program, work, or project with which the faculty member is involved.
4. Identification of areas that the faculty member believes needs improvement including goals or timelines.
5. Reflection and description on participation in the student learning outcomes process.
Self-Evaluation. The unit member has the option to prepare a written self-evaluation and submit to the assigned supervisor or manager prior to the written evaluation conference. The self-evaluation will be attached to the written evaluation.
