Seniority Progression Increases. On the Friday immediately preceding their six (6)-month anniversary of the date of hire or date of the last seniority progression increase, employees below the rate range maximum for their labor grade shall, subject to such maximum, receive a seniority progression increase to their base rate of fifty (50) cents. Employees shall automatically progress to the base rate range maximum upon their twelfth (12th) seniority progression increase. Seniority progression increases shall accumulate towards the progression to maximum rate, irrespective of the labor grade or job classification in which seniority progression was earned. Employees on approved leave of absence will continue to accrue time toward their next six (6)-month progression increase for the first ninety (90) days of the leave. Employees recalled from layoff within one (1) year will be credited with any time they had prior to their layoff toward their next six (6)-month progression increase.
Seniority Progression Increases. On the Monday immediately preceding their six (6)- month anniversary of the date of hire or date of the last seniority progression increase, employees below the rate range maximum for their job classification shall, subject to such maximum, receive a seniority progression increase to their base rate of sixty-five cents ($0.65). Employees on approved leave of absence will continue to accrue time toward their next six (6)-month progression increase for the first ninety (90) days of the leave. Employees, recalled from layoff will be credited with any time they had prior to their layoff toward their next six (6)-month progression increase.

Related to Seniority Progression Increases

  • Seniority Dates Upon request, the Employer agrees to make available to the Union the seniority dates of any employees covered by this Agreement. Such seniority dates shall be subject to correction for error on proper representation by the Union.

  • Seniority Roster The District shall maintain an updated seniority roster, indicating employee's class seniority and hire date seniority. Such rosters shall be available to CSEA.

  • Seniority Rosters The Employer agrees to furnish the Union each January 31 and July 31 with rosters of all employees who accrue seniority, their current and prior classifications, and start date in each classification and University start date per Section 1. Employees who have accepted positions outside the bargaining unit do not accrue class seniority in the bargaining unit when employed in positions outside the bargaining unit, but retain prior seniority earned in the bargaining unit. When two (2) or more employees have the same classification seniority date, ties shall be broken by recognizing the employee with the greater University seniority first. If a tie still continues, the employee's seniority position shall be determined by lot.

  • Seniority Date Employees shall acquire seniority upon completion of the probationary period as defined in Article XIII and upon acquiring seniority, the seniority date shall relate back to the first date of continuous service in the bargaining unit. If more than one employee commences work on the same date, lot shall determine seniority ranking for such employees. A District-Wide seniority list will be provided for the exclusive representative no later than November 1 of each year.

  • SENIORITY INCREMENTS 1. ENTRY AT THE FIRST STEP 180. Full-time employees entering at the first step shall advance to the second step upon completion of six months service and to each successive step upon completion of the one year required service. 2. ENTRY AT OTHER THAN THE FIRST STEP 181. Employees who enter a classification at a rate of pay at other than the first step shall advance one step upon completion of the one year required service. Further increments shall accrue following completion of the required service at this step and at each successive step.
